CheongShim’s Landmark where Nature, Human, Education, and Culture Meet Together
g.sharing is CheongShim’s water quality restoration center that purifies wastewater created inside the CheongShim Complex and sends it back to nature.
The cylinder-shaped environmentally-friendly building, based on the motifs of the silhouettes of the mountains, waves of water, land topography in the surroundings, clearly shows the environmentallyfriendly future values that CheongShim pursues as well as the business management philosophy, ‘A Harmony between Humans and Nature’.
The first floor under ground is a wastewater processing facility and educational venue where people experience and observe the water purifying process. This facility adopts the state of the art MBR technique through which it produces purified water of less than 4ppm of the BOD level, which is more than 2.5 times as clean as the legal requirement of 10 ppm.
The first and second floors offer a space where people can engage in various experiments and experiences which combine water with environment and art. In addition, cultural education programs will be offered on a regular basis thereby giving an opportunity for people to learn the importance of water through all round experience. The g.sharing promises to become a new Culture-Edu space as a landmark for global Culture-Edu of CheongShim, where humans communicate with nature and culture converges with education.
